Every figure and statement we read while writing the guides, transcribed one at a time with units left exactly as each source writes them. Two rows that contradict each other both stay. Archived with a DOI.
What a light meter reads at real spots in real homes. Readings run from 33 lux to the top of the scale, and the middle half spans 420 to 6,200.

All three are free under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, so you can reprint or build on them, commercially or not, as long as the attribution line travels with the file. Each page carries its own citation line and its own notes on what the data does not cover.
One caveat is worth reading before you reuse the published-figures file: the compilation is ours to license, but the quoted sentences in it are not. Each remains the property of the publisher named in its row, so keep the source_url column with the file.
If a dataset is missing something you needed, or a row looks wrong, tell us — corrections go into the next version and the DOI keeps pointing at the newest one.
